Snow predicted for Victoria this weekend
Jan 13 2012
Victoria could get its first snowfall of the year this weekend. Environment Canada said an Arctic frontal system is set to arrive tonight, producing possible flurries at higher elevations.
People living closer to sea level will get mostly rain and few wet flakes through Saturday morning, the weather office said. But, by Sunday, temperatures will dip low enough to produce snow anywhere there is enough moisture.
The office is forecasting a 70 per cent chance of flurries and a low of O C. Any snow is expected to turn to rain on Monday. — Times Colonist
