Man guilty of manslaughter in 2008 death

A Victoria man pleaded guilty in B.C. Supreme Court Monday to charges of manslaughter in connection to the 2008 killing of Billy Lupaschuk.
William Kilby appeared in court via video link and will appear in person for his sentencing on March 6.
On Oct. 4, Lupaschuk, 52, was found injured and unconscious on Swift Street, near the former Streetlink Emergency Shelter.
He had suffered facial injuries and a severe injury to the back of his head.
He died in hospital about a week later.
Lupaschuk had a criminal record for thefts and drinkingrelated offences.
