Séguin sentencing adjourned 2 weeks
Mar 22 2012
The case of a homeless man convicted of the attempted murder of a 25-year-old Victoria police officer last year has been adjourned for two weeks.
Guy Hervé Séguin was to appear in B.C. Supreme Court Chambers Wednesday to set a date for his sentencing. However, a lawyer acting as agent for Séguin's defence lawyer asked for the adjournment.
On March 6, a jury found Séguin intended to kill Const. Lane Douglas Hunt when he stabbed her outside a downtown 7-Eleven on Jan. 17, 2011.
