West Shore RCMP are concerned about a Colwood man who has been missing for two weeks.

Charles Drake Mackie, 51, was last seen at his home on March 23, when he drove off in a dark blue 2001 Toyota Echo with the B.C. licence plate number 093GPA.

Mackie's wife reported him missing after he did not return home or make contact for several days.

Mackie suffers from medical conditions for which he takes prescription medication, but he did not take his medication with him, West Shore RCMP said.

Mackie has been known to leave home for up to a week, eventually returning on his own. He enjoys the outdoors and likes to go on hikes or visit beaches and has also been known to travel to Edmonton to visit family.

Mackie is described as heavy set, at six feet tall and 250 pounds. He has short black hair, brown eyes and a dark complexion.

Anyone who has seen Mackie or knows his whereabouts is asked to call West Shore RCMP at 250-474-2264 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
