Police shut down drug 'stash house' in West Shore
Apr 25 2012
A call to the CrimeStoppers information line was the key to pulling the plug on a Langford "dialadope" operation that peddled cocaine and heroin in the community.
West Shore RCMP Sgt. Max Fossum said the tip initially led investigators to Colwood, where surveillance last week resulted in the arrest of a 27-year-old man who was carrying 42 baggies filled with 20 grams of crack cocaine and soft cocaine and four grams of heroin.
The police effort culminated with a search warrant being carried out a "stash house" in Langford that served as the headquarters for the operation.
The search of the house also turned up money and a policestyle collapsible baton.
