West Shore RCMP have arrested three suspects they believe robbed people at knifepoint in and around the Luxton Rodeo during the Victoria Day weekend.
A 20-year-old man and two 17-year-olds were arrested last week, said West Shore RCMP Sgt. Max Fossum.
Three teens were robbed at knifepoint on the evening of May 20. In the most violent attack, a teen was punched in the stomach and face over $20.
The 20-year-old is facing three counts of armed robbery, uttering threats and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
One 17-year-old is facing three counts of robbery and three counts of uttering threats. The other teen is facing charges of possession of property obtained by crime, and uttering threats.
All three suspects were identified through witness interviews and photo lineups, Fossum said.
West Shore RCMP believe the same group attacked an intoxicated man outside the Glen Lake liquor store.
The man, who had to be admitted to hospital, could not provide a proper description because of his drunken state, so police are unable to pursue charges, Fossum said.
