A full-patch member of the Hells Angels chapter in Nanaimo worked at a notorious motorcycle shop in West Kelowna that was recently raided by police.
The Nanaimo man has not been charged and Kelowna RCMP are not releasing his name, said Kelowna RCMP spokesman Const. Kris Clark.
Police say the store where the man worked, called Cycle Logic, was receiving stolen cars, trucks, all-terrain vehicles, boats, even an excavator, and changing the items' vehicle identification number.
Clark said the value of items seized from the stolen property sting is estimated to exceed $750,000.
Cycle Logic is owned by suspected Hells Angel member John Edward Newcome, who has been charged with multiple counts of possession of stolen property over $5,000. No one else has been charged.
