A woman was arrested Thursday near the corner of Douglas and Bay streets after allegedly selling marijuana to an undercover officer.
Victoria police said they learned of the woman's suspected drug activity through a tip from the Integrated Road Safety Unit. The woman had been stopped twice at IRSU roadblocks and found to be in possession of significant amounts of drugs and cash.
Police searched the woman's apartment, where they found about $5,000 worth of marijuana and mushrooms, and $14,000 in cash.
A 24-year-old woman is facing two new charges of drug possession for the purpose of trafficking and three charges of trafficking in controlled substance.
