Man arrested after rear-ending a bus near McKenzie Avenue and Pat Bay Highway

A motorist who rear-ended a B.C. Transit bus Monday morning was arrested by Saanich police and may have been impaired by alcohol or drugs.
A witness notified police that a pickup was being driven erratically in the area of McKenzie Avenue and the Patricia Bay Highway. After the 9: 30 a.m. crash, the 25-year-old male became aggressive with police.
He was put in the rear of the police car and then tried to kick out the windows.
Police are considering laying charges of assaulting a peace officer, uttering threats, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and impaired driving.
