Man arrested after Royal Bank on Douglas held up

Victoria police arrested a man after the Royal Bank at Douglas and Fort streets was held up Wednesday.
Police said a man walked into the bank about 8: 15 a.m., produced a note and escaped with an undisclosed sum of money.
Staff Sgt. Gord Cochrane said investigators were able to track a suspect down later in the day.
The suspect, a man in his 50s, is also wanted in connection with a robbery in Toronto and a robbery that took place in Vancouver on Tuesday.
