The cenotaph in front of the legislature is the most popular location in the city to observe Remembrance Day services, but there are several others around the region. Unless specified, ceremonies begin at 11 a.m.

Saanich: A ceremony will be held in front of a war memorial at the south side of the municipal hall, 770 Vernon Ave. A parade to the memorial will start at the Saanich police station at 10:45 a.m., with the Victoria Police Pipe Band, Cadet Band and the 11th Field Hospital Band.

Esquimalt/View Royal: Ceremonies organized by the Royal Canadian Legion are held at Memorial Park, 1229 Esquimalt Rd., across from Esquimalt municipal hall. After the ceremony, the public is invited to an open house at the Legion Branch No. 172, 622 Admirals Rd.

Oak Bay: The official ceremony starts at 10:55 a.m. at the cenotaph, in the 2800-block of Beach Drive in Uplands Park.

Colwood/Langford/Highlands: Residents of all three communities are invited to a gathering organized by Prince Edward Branch No. 91 of the Royal Canadian Legion, in front of the cenotaph in Veterans' Memorial Park, corner of Veterans Memorial Parkway and Goldstream Avenue.

Metchosin: While there is no official ceremony, there is an unofficial gathering at the cenotaph on the property of the St. Mary's the Virgin Anglican Church, 4354 Metchosin Rd.

Sooke: A parade starts at 10:45 a.m., from the Evergreen Mall to the cenotaph, where the official ceremony begins at 11 a.m. After the ceremony, the public is invited to a light lunch with refreshments and entertainment.

Central Saanich: A ceremony will be held in front of the Central Saanich Municipal Hall, 1903 Mount Newton Cross Rd.

Sidney/North Saanich: A military parade starts at 10:30 a.m. from the Mary Winspear Centre and follows Beacon Avenue to the cenotaph in front of Sidney's Town Hall. The official ceremony starts at 10:50, followed by a helicopter flypast.
