A disgruntled McDonald's customer faces assault charges after throwing a bag of burgers at the restaurant manager.
The incident happened Friday night about 8 p.m. at the fast food restaurant on Cedar Hill Cross Road, Saanich police spokesman Sgt. Dean Jantzen said.
A man ordered six hamburgers at the drive-thru but went inside the restaurant to complain about the food, Jantzen said.
The manager quickly remade the order. The customer tested the burgers and became incensed that they were not hot enough. He spit out the food and threw the bag of burgers at the manager.
Saanich police were called and arrested a 45 year-old Saanich man, who faces charges of assault and causing a disturbance.
